Kids Camp is a week-long experience of adventure, activities, friends, sports and more! In summer 2022, we’ll be offering five weeks of themed camps for kids in kindergarten through grade 5 (born 2011-2016).

We’re really excited to welcome Pastor Beth Braun to the Soul Sanctuary staff team as our Family Ministries Pastor! As Family Ministries Pastor Pastor Beth will oversee our children’s and youth ministries, working alongside Pastor Andrew, Piper and Alyssa to focus on how we as a church can ensure that our parents are equipped to be the primary disciple-makers of their children.
Heroes for Children Awards - Celebrating Pastor Gerry's Reception of the Rev. Dr. Ken McMillan Award
On Sunday, January 23 Pastor Gerry was recognized as one of five Canadian "heroes" who received awards on behalf of World Vision for their commitment to helping the world's most vulnerable children. Missions Partner Update: Taveta and Tunyo (Kenya, World Vision)
Following Chosen Sunday in Fall 2019, the Soul Sanctuary community now supports over 300 children and their families in Tunyo and Taveta Kenya through our partnership with World Vision. Check out our 2021 partnership report and join us on December 5 and 12 as we connect with our partners in Kenya.
Observing Advent
As we move into the month of December we are preparing to observe the season of Advent together as a church community. The four Sundays leading up to Christmas are set apart for our community to intentionally focus on the hope, love, joy and peace that the coming of Christ brings.
Our Academic Team is Headed to Ukraine
This afternoon a team of educators from Soul Sanctuary, composed of Pastor Gerry Michalski, Sharon Michalski, Dr. Gordon Giesbrecht and Rick Wiebe are headed to western Ukraine to lecture at Volyn National University in Lutsk. The team will spend time building relationships with the academic staff at the university and will teach and preach at a pastors conference for our eastern European missions partner, the Russian/Ukrainian Assemblies of God.

Last week the Province of Manitoba released new public health orders which impact Places of Worship. In order to accommodate these health orders we will be implementing pre-registration to ensure we meet our capacity limits. Pre-registration can be done from your phone and takes less than 30 seconds!

On Wednesday, September 29 at 7:00 p.m. you and your family are invited to join the ministry staff of Soul Sanctuary at A Maze in Corn. There is no formal agenda for the evening, our intention is simply to spend time together and build relationships with one another.
Soul Support: Kurt, Janelle and Stevie
On July 5, 2021 Janelle and Kurt Kornelsen, a couple from the Soul community, became new parents as they gave birth to their daughter Stevie Monroe. About a month later Stevie was diagnosed with an enlarged heart.
Moving Inside: Return to Indoor Gatherings
With the fall weather now upon us, we’re excited to move our Sunday gatherings inside! This Sunday, September 12 we will gather to worship together indoors at 10:01am.
Live Intentionally: Discipleship Groups
We are excited to announce the beginning of Discipleship Groups at Soul Sanctuary. Discipleship groups are a type of Life Group that operates with an expressed desire to fulfill the biblical principles of Christian discipleship.
