Summer Camps 2024: The Best Week of Your Year!
Camps are a welcoming, fun, and relaxed environment that nurtures conversation and deeper relationships. For many kids and students a week at camp is the next step in their faith journey, an opportunity to learn more about God, to experience a loving community, and to engage with Jesus through worship, prayer, and Scripture.
Recognizing the different needs for each age group, our camps are specially crafted to meet kids and students where they are at by creating developmentally appropriate environments that are unique and fun.
Soul Kids Camps
Pre-K to Grade 5 (in the 2023/24 school year)
1. Make faith discoveries about Jesus!
This summer we're taking kids on an underwater adventure, making Kids Camp the best deep sea adventure of the summer. At Soul Kids Camp, kids will have opportunities to engage with interactive lessons from the Bible, create crafts, and play games all centred around God’s Word.
2. Build friendships and share adventures!
Our desire is for kids to make friends at Kids Camp! Kids will be placed in a small crew for the week. They will participate in large and small group activities with their crew. Kids will have opportunities to participate in fun, interactive activities where memories will be made! During weeks 2 + 3, kids can expect a visit from Prairie Exotics animals and so much more!
3. Safe and caring environment!
Our Kids Camp team is awesome! Our leaders desire to build relationships with your kids and point them towards Jesus. All Kids Camp Leaders have received training and have completed our Protection Policy requirements!
Grade 6 Discipleship Camp
New this year for Grade 6 students (in the 2023/24 school year)
1. Grow in your faith!
At our discipleship camp, you will have the opportunity to try new ways of encountering God and growing in your faith that you can apply to the regular rhythms of your life!
2. Grow in character!
Not only will you have the chance to learn more about God, but also about yourself and the unique ways that He has made you. Come learn about the gifts God has given you and where you can use them to build His Kingdom.
3. Grow in leadership!
This camp will help equip you to lead and serve in our community and beyond. It will give you practical skills and chances to put into practice what you’ve been learning together!
YOUNG + WILD Summer Camp
Grade 5-12 (in the 2023/24 school year)
1. Take next steps in your faith!
There is something special about stepping outside of our regular schedules and shifting our focus towards Jesus! Come learn and experience about the love God has for you through incredible teaching, interactive breakout sessions, and times of worship! We believe that God wants to do something incredible in your life this summer!
2. Be a part of a team!
Everyone at camp gets to be a part of a team that will compete in intellectual and physical competitions and grow together in interactive breakout sessions. Who will take home our Team of the Year and Championship trophies this year?!
3. Grow closer to each other!
Something special about YOUNG + WILD Summer Camps is that the relationships built there carry on into the school year. Your youth leaders are also your camp leaders! And you will get the opportunity to make lasting memories with them, your small group, and the rest of your friends from YOUNG LIFE and WILDLIFE!
