Sunday Gathering Changes (effective this Sunday)

In light of the Government of Manitoba’s new guidelines for places of worship we will be changing our Sunday Gathering times and capacity. Our new capacity limit is a maximum of 50 people in our facility (down from 100).

Gathering Changes

  • Starting this Sunday we will meet in-person at 8:30am, 10:00am and 11:30am. Our online live gathering will take place at 10:00am.

  • Our gatherings will be slightly shorter than normal, but will still include a time of worship through singing, prayer and preaching from the Bible

  • There will be no Soul Kids ministry during our in-person gatherings. Families will be provided with resource packs and will have the option to reserve a family table in the sanctuary

  • YOUNG LIFE Youth Alpha will be moved exclusively to Zoom, starting at 11:45am

  • ASL Interpretation will be provided VIA Zoom during the 10:00am Gathering

  • COVID protocols will be followed and are listed in detail on the registration page

A note from Pastor Gerry

For over two thousand years Christian’s have gathered together on Sundays to sing God’s praises, to remember Christ’s sacrifice and to listen to the public declaration of the Scriptures. The effects of COVID-19 have not been the first global event to challenge the church, and they surely won’t be the last. Gathering together on Sundays is an important part of Christian worship. However, temporary capacity restrictions do not impact us from working to fulfill our God-given vision of being a place of spiritual refuge, repair and rejuvenation for all people.

As church leadership, Staff and Steering Committee, we are active in dialogue and planning in order to meet the current restrictions. We will remain compliant to health orders for the benefit of our immunocompromised and vulnerable neighbours. We follow the Apostle Paul’s instruction to model the humility of Christ himself (Phil. 2:3-8). We call on our community to continue to pray for the following:

  • An end to the COVID-19 Pandemic

  • Wisdom for our elected officials at all levels of government

  • Unity among the global body of Christ (Eph. 4)

As a church community we are committed to our mission of walking with people as the come to know God, find freedom, discover their purpose and make a difference. Our hope remains firmly planted in Christ and in his plan for the restoration of his creation. If you need prayer or support during this season, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us.
