Return to Physical Gatherings - Things to Know

We’re so thrilled for the opportunity to gather physically as a church community! On November 1 we’ll come together to worship with a comprehensive safety plan in place. The primary function of the church is to glorify God, we do that on Sunday mornings through singing together, praying together, giving our time and money in worship, reading the Scriptures together and listening to the Scriptures being preached. While we can glorify God together online, we recognize the importance of gathering physically in worship and the practical benefit that physical gatherings have for our community. We eagerly await being able to worship alongside one another once again! Here are some things that you should know about coming back to 2050 Chevrier Blvd. on a Sunday morning!

1. Worship Gatherings

  • 9:09am (doors open at 8:50am)

  • 11:00am (doors open at 10:50am)

  • Pre-registration and on-site check-in is required to ensure we stay within gathering size limits

2. Soul Kids

  • Soul Kids for Kindergarten to Grade 5 will be available during the 9:09am gathering

  • Check-in will open at 8:50am and kids will go straight to Soul Kids rather than joining their family in the main gathering

  • Masks are required for all children ages 5 and up

  • Spaces are currently limited to 20 children

3. What to Expect

As you come back to worship at Soul we want you to keep in mind the following guidelines:

  • Masks are required for everyone, ages 5 and up

  • Pre-screening will take place in advance online and those who are feeling unwell or have been advised by Manitoba Health to self-isolate in the past 14 days are asked to stay home

  • Everyone will check in, entering through a physically distanced line at the main entrance

  • You will be seated with your household in physically distanced rows, allowing for 3 empty seats between different households. Ushers will be present to assist with seating

  • We have a limited amount of reserved table seating for families that have children who will not be attending Soul Kids (these can be requested during pre-registration)

  • We will enjoy a time of singing, prayer and preaching together

  • At the end of the gathering everyone will be directed to the proper exit from the auditorium or to the Soul Kids pick up area. It is important that people do not linger and that physical distancing is maintained until you are in your vehicle

  • The auditorium will be sanitized between the 9:09am and 11:11am gathering

  • Registration will open on Monday morning at 9:00am each week and close on Thursday evening at 11:59pm so that we can prepare for you

These guidelines will serve our community well as we seek to see people come to know God, find freedom, discover purpose and make a difference, all the while staying healthy and free from COVID-19.

We eagerly await our coming together again!
