Over the course of the last month there have been some staffing changes at Soul Sanctuary that are noteworthy.

PASTOR JORDAN MCLELLAN

Effective Monday, March 9, Pastor Jordan McLellan has embarked on a five week parental leave. We’re so thankful for Pastor Jordan McLellan and we are excited for him to be able to spend some intentional time with Nicole, Zara and Jovi and for them to be able to travel to visit family and friends.

Pastor Jordan Michalski will be stepping in for Pastor Jordan McLellan during this time and is happy to assist with anything you may need.

PASTOR SHAWNA LAVENDAR

Effective Friday, March 13, Pastor Shawna Lavendar has concluded her role as Children’s Pastor at Soul Sanctuary. Pastor Shawna and her husband Murray will be continuing to raise support for their deployment as PAOC Global Workers.

We are so excited for Pastor Shawna and Murray as they take next steps of obedience, following the call that God has put on their lives. The impact that they have made at Soul Sanctuary in their time here will long outlast their physical presence. We as the Soul community look forward to supporting them and their mission in the months and years to come.

JILL RHODES

Jill has faithfully served at Soul in various Children’s Ministry capacities over the last few years. In Fall 2019 Jill was hired full-time as the Acting Children’s Ministry Director while Pastor Shawna began her transition off of the staff team. Jill will continue in her role as Acting Children’s Ministry Director while Soul Sanctuary begins the search for a new Children’s Ministry Pastor.

Jill’s heart for the children of Soul Sanctuary is self-evident and her contribution to our community has been felt throughout. We are thankful for her desire to continue on our staff team throughout this transitory period.

We are thankful for the incredible staff team we have here at Soul and we look forward with great expectation to how God will continue to use our staff to impact our church community, our city and our nation.
